Drillmech is a Western Australian owned and operated company, established in 2008 to service WA’s ever-growing mining and civil construction sectors.
What began in a small shed has grown into a multidisciplinary operation, with more than 50 skilled employees delivering high-quality outcomes across heavy equipment rebuilds, fabrication, field service, and parts exchange.
We’re trusted by some of Australia’s most recognised mining companies as a reliable partner in machinery rebuilds, but our capabilities go far beyond that. From complex steel fabrication to plant maintenance and end-to-end maintenance solutions, Drillmech combines experience with precision, maintaining a strong focus on safety, transparency, and performance.
As part of our continued growth, we are expanding into Kalgoorlie — establishing a branch to better serve the Goldfields. This new location will support rapid-response repair work, act as a service exchange parts depot, and provide a permanent base for our field service team. With boots on the ground and parts on the shelf, we’re positioned to reduce downtime and respond faster to the needs of our customers in the region.
At Drillmech, we’re more than a contractor — we’re a partner in performance, committed to helping our clients improve uptime, reduce costs, and deliver quality outcomes on every job.

In The Community
When it comes to community, Drillmech cares.
Like the steel we fabricate, our involvement contributes to a strong structure — helping strengthen the community by supporting the causes that are close to our hearts.

Strong women
We’re proud supporters of women in sport through our sponsorship of the East Fremantle Sharks Football Club. While our contributions support the club as a whole, our original intent — and ongoing focus — is to back the women’s program, including individual sponsorships of two Rogers Cup players each season. We believe being involved in team sports promotes mental and physical wellbeing, and the connection and opportunity it brings to young women on and off the field.
Strong men
Being in an industry dominated by blokes, the importance of men’s mental health is top of mind for everyone at Drillmech. For so long, social stigma meant that men suffered in silence — and that hurts everyone.
We’re committed to encouraging meaningful conversations about mental health with team members and the community. That’s why we support Beyond Blue and their initiatives like RUOK? Day.
Our team loves getting amongst it during Movember each year, and we love that our (sometimes patchy) efforts support men’s cancers and suicide prevention.

Strong communities
Supporting mental and physical health is incredibly important to Drillmech. Each year, team members take part in the MACA Cancer 200 Ride, raising vital funds for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Beyond that, we actively support grassroots sport across WA — sponsoring clubs like Eastern Suns Basketball, Mundijong Centrals Junior Football Club, and Canning Vale Cougars Football Club, as well as individual up-and-coming athletes in a range of sports. Whether it’s through participation or sponsorship, we’re proud to back initiatives that promote wellbeing, resilience and community connection.
