Drillmech was invited to tender for a prominent mining business on a large-scale job restoring a full fleet of Atlas Copco MT6020’s. This fleet was thoroughly worn out and the trucks were approaching the end of their first life. To make sure we could keep cost low for our client, we provided a competitive estimate to complete the rebuilds – and in the end, we were awarded four MT6020’s to rebuild over 12 months.
By using our resourcefulness to source reasonably priced parts, we were able to further limit the cost imposed upon the client. The job was done on time and on budget, and the machines returned to site to provide outstanding reliability and availability for a second life.
